With no lives or social skills we spent our friday night doing crafts.
What would Commeh need a bowl of sticky nerds for?
Candy sushi, duh.
Supplies and the gummy fish sashimi.
For seaweed we used fruit roll ups, and airheads. The rice was either nerds or rice krispies.
Chris adding a secret ingredient. poprocks = sesame seeds
Commeh cutting one of his rolls (nerds surrounding an airhead wrapped around swedish fish).
Once our hands got incredibly sticky we called it quits and set up the dinner.
additional snacks
Commeh poured out the tea..
..but at a candy sushi party we opted for soda.
The sauce on the left is sour wonka goo, and the sauce on the left is nerds that Commeh melted in the microwave.
The poprocks really made the experience powerful.
Commeh going to to diabetic shock.
salmon roe
All in all it was a fun night, and we all came up with some really good recipes. Especially anything involving the poprocks.
BUT, the problem with making candy sushi is that by the time you get to eat it you have already eaten so much candy that you wanna puke. I think we only each ate about 3-4 pieces each before we each said that we were over it. Hopefully the left overs last in Chris's fridge.
